Tara Valley Nursery is one of Australia's most progressive wholesale plant nurseries. From our inception almost a decade ago, Tara Valley has strived to embrace the newest trends in horticulture to produce superior plants with cutting edge technology.

 

Our products are sold in many of the finest retail plant nurseries in Australia. In addition to the Patio Orchard Collection, some of our other popular ranges are: The Berrylicious Range, The Living Architecture Range, Collector's Edition Cordylines, and the Rare Treasures series.

 

Our Facilities

 

Tara Valley Nursery operates on a 6 hectare site in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by bush at Cornubia, just south of Brisbane.

 

Tara Valley uses complex nursery infrastructure that has been developed to the highest Nursery Industry Accreditation Scheme (NIASA) standards. Tara Valley production is controlled by a qualified and experienced team of highly skilled nursery supervisors and nursery staff.

 

Tara Valley has 14 environmentally controlled growing houses utilising a range of both passive and complex control systems. With this number of individually controlled growing environments, there are very few crops that cannot be accommodated in the nursery.

 

We also house an onsite tissue culture laboratory used to produce large quantities of plants that are either newly developed varieties or for which it may be difficult to source conventional propagation material.

 

Throughout the production process, we employ a number of environmental sustainability best practice techniques, particularly in regards to water conservation, to reduce the environmental impact of our business.
