About:

There are many advantages to growing your own Sharpblue Blueberries. Besides saving a small fortune on supermarket prices, Sharpblue Blueberries have proven very popular for their numerous health benefits and can be grown in warmer climates. Now Queenslanders can enjoy this great blueberry variety too! Sharpblue Blueberries grow best in full sun and produce high yields of excellent quality fruit in the first year of growth. You'll be enjoying a bounty of delicious, healthy berries in no time at all, plus in five years your mature plant will
produce between 5 and 8kg of fruit per year.

Needs regular watering - water weekly or more often in extreme heat.

Soil:

Prefers acidic, moist, well-drained soil (we recommend using an azalea potting mix) that is rich in organic matter.

Maintenance:

Responds well to pruning. Plant will have some discolouration on its older leaves in cooler
months (a form of rust). This is common with blueberries and doesn't mean they're dying.
