Genus: Agapanthus

Species: Inapertus

Purple Cloud is a highly attractive Agapanthus which produces large flower heads with pendulous blossoms coloured a deep purple violet. The flower heads display each summer on top of spikes that can reach up to 2 metres in height. The wide strap-like leaves emanating from the base are a deep green and provide a strong architectural look to the plant. Agapanthus Purple Cloud looks particularly impressive in mass plantings or as a border plant.

Preferring full sun to part shade, Agapanthus Purple Clouds is an easy to grow plant that is particularly hardy.
