These fantastic tropical plants are also known by their botanical name of Plumeria, and a deciduous trees that produce large glossy green leaves and beautiful flowers that are very brightly coloured. The flowers emit a heavenly aroma that will be sure be a highly attractive feature in your garden. Frangipani’s are very hardy and require little maintenance, so you’ll be enjoying this tropical delight for years to come!

Growing:

​Requires full sun up but can take partial shade. Frangipani’s can tolerate a wide variety of conditions and can be great for coastal gardens due to their salt tolerance.

Water:

​Average water needs. Water during summer and infrequently in winter.

 

Soil:

Best grown in well-drained soil - sandy soil is preferred, and they do not cope well with clay soils.

Maintenance:

​To maintain a uniform shape, prune after flowering if necessary. Feed once yearly with a slow release fertiliser. Otherwise, this is a fairly low maintenance plant.
